Il film racconta una favola moderna di terra, acqua e fuoco: la vita di una antica fornace, la cui storia dal 1400 nella città di Milano testimonia l'evolversi di un'arte, quella della terracotta, che ha lanciato nel mondo lo stile rinascimentale italiano. Dal Filarete e Leonardo ai giorni nostri l'argilla, trasformata artisticamente in terracotta, con i suoi vari usi racconta del nostro rapporto con la natura che ci circonda. La FORNACE CURTI diventa così una cittadella simbolo dell'importanza degli elementi naturali, primo fra tutti l'acqua, e degli artigiani, i fornaciari, che ne garantiscono il rispetto.

The film is a modern tale of earth, water and fire: the life of a working pottery, whose history, since 1400 in the city of Milan, testifies the evolution of an art, that of clay, which launched in the world Italian Renaissance style. From Philaret and Leonardo to this day, the terracotta artistically transformed, with its various uses, tells of our relationship with the nature that surrounds us. The FURNACE CURTI becomes a citadel symbol of the importance of natural elements, first of all water, and the kilnmen, who ensure their respect.
